Job Description

We are looking for a QA engineer who is responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the product launch. Duties include identifying and analyzing any bugs and errors found during the test phase and documenting them for review after. Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues. Depending on the internal organizational structure.

Must-Have Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Experience in agile methodology is preferred.
  • Entry-level working experience in software quality assurance.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Must be good with Web application testing.
Good to Have Skills:
  • Experience using JIRA for requirements management and defect tracking
  • Experience in Mobile testing.
  • Hands on experience in Automation Testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, UFT would be a plus
  • Must have knowledge in at least one of the programming languages like Java, JavaScript, Python etc.
  • Experience in Performance Testing tools like Jmeter or other relevant tools would be an added advantage
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manual testing of eCommerce applications and eCommerce web stores, with other applications that are under development.
  • Review and Analyse Requirements documents
  • Create/Develop, execute and maintain the test Cases/Scripts for End to End use cases and business scenarios of eCommerce application and eCommerce web stores, with other internal applications that are under development.
  • Performance testing of the application using different load and stress testing tools like Jmeter, Loader.io etc.
  • Assure cross-browser and cross-device uniformity of the application.
  • Perform unit, integration, system and acceptance testing.
  • Test new features in monthly cycles and also document workflows.
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure the delivery of a software with high quality.
